This is a tattoo on my left ribcage, and oh boy it was quite painful! All together it took about three hours. The snake represents my brother who was born in the year of the snake. Each of the roses represent an important person in my life, and the anchor all in all stands for family… they keep be grounded and well, anchored. I’m in absolute love with this piece, and I’m planning on adding color to the roses but for now, I’m keeping it simple! My tattoo artist is definitely one talented dude.

Drugs. Use and Abuse.

I will never deny that drugs are an eye opening experience. They have changed the way I see many things in this world. They have also taught me acceptance and have allowed me to open my mind and heart to new people. The lifestyles and ideas of the people I have met have changed my perception on life. However, I don’t believe that drugs are meant to become you. They can help expand your thoughts and open your heart but it’s not meant to be permanent. Stopping your use of drugs does not have to change your views on life as long as you remember the lessons they have taught you. This life is not supposed to be reliant on drugs, this life is reliant on you and what you make of it. When you become reliant on drugs is when you fail at life. Drugs are meant as a lesson, not a lifestyle.
